A system was needed to centrally collect and integrate all IoT data
generated by multi-sensor devices at approximately 1,100 locations across the city
and efficiently query the growing dataset.

Solution
SDKs and APIs were provided to integrate data generated by multiple systems
using Machbase's time-series database. The solution consolidates
the systems' different table structures for storage in Machbase.

12 million records ingested and 20 million queries per day
(3 billion records stored in total), handled smoothly and reliably.

Lower
costs
Adding TSDB alone, without expanding infrastructure, upgraded the system
to support future ingestion of more than 100 million records per day, with a data loss rate of 0.00001%
