HD Hyundai Marine Solution (HD Hyundai Global Service)
was established as a spin-off from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries
to provide after-sales services throughout a vessel's life cycle, including maintenance, repairs, and retrofits.

Provide shipowners with real-time vessel operating information
and shore-based monitoring services for vessels built by Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Limited network
connectivity
Hundreds to thousands of sensors on vessel engines generate data in real time.
However, vessels at sea have limited network connectivity, so
the data is sent to the monitoring server as a single CSV file once every 5 minutes.

Fast preprocessing is needed
for reliable data collection and storage.
Large CSV files need
rapid preprocessing and reliable collection and storage
for near-real-time monitoring.
Solution
Developed a data collector that maps CSV files according to rules provided by HD Hyundai Marine Solution,
preprocesses the data, and stores it in the database,
while configuring redundant production and backup databases.
