This guide introduces how to organize tags collected through OPC UA into an Asset Hierarchy and quickly explore data for the equipment you need.

In industrial environments, a single piece of equipment can generate dozens or hundreds of tags for temperature, vibration, motor current, operating speed, and more. Managing these tags as a flat list makes it difficult to find the data you need.

Machbase Neo organizes these tags into an Asset Hierarchy of Plant → Production Line → Equipment, helping you manage equipment and data systematically.

For example, you can create Assembly Line A under Smart Plant 1, then add equipment such as Press Machine 01, Conveyor 01, and Robot Arm 01 to that production line. Each piece of equipment is linked to tags for temperature, vibration, motor current, operating speed, and other measurements.
